Repair and Diagnosis: Electrical: Starter: Overhaul

Use illustration for exploded view of starter. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . When assembling starter, place high temperature grease on rear cover, gear case, frictional pinion surface, moving portion of shift lever and solenoid plunger.
