Bench Testing: Rotor

Using ohmmeter, check continuity between rotor slip rings. Ensure continuity exists. Replace rotor if continuity does not exist. Check continuity between any rotor slip ring and rotor core. Continuity should not exist. Replace rotor assembly if continuity exists. Ensure slip ring diameter exceeds minimum specification. See SLIP RING MINIMUM DIAMETER  table.
