Self-Diagnostic Indicator Lights
Interior dome light and step lights are used to identify malfunctions in on-board diagnostics Mode I, II, III and IV. Seat memory indicators "1" and "2" are used to identify malfunctions in on-board diagnostics Mode V. See Fig 1 . Depending on the on-board diagnostic mode, indicator(s) will either flash Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), or display some specific patterns to indicate the malfunctioning item.
