Tachometer Circuit Test
Using an analog voltmeter, backprobe between combination meter harness connector N13, terminal No. 13 (White/Green wire) and ground. See Figure . Start engine. Observe analog voltmeter while increasing and decreasing engine RPM. If voltage is higher at higher RPM, and lower at lower RPM, tachometer circuit is okay at this time. If voltage does not vary with changes in engine RPM, repair open or shorted condition in White/Green wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
