Door Lock/Unlock Switch

NOTE: Switch is part of power window switch assembly.
  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect SECU White 24-pin harness connector. Check continuity between ground and terminals No. 4 and 5. See DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK SWITCH CONTINUITY CHECK  table. If continuity is as specified, door lock/unlock switch is okay. If continuity is not as specified, go to next step.
    DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK SWITCH CONTINUITY CHECK

    Switch Position (Terminal No.) (1) Continuity
    Lock (5) Yes
    Neutral/Unlock (5) No
    Unlock (4) Yes
    Neutral/Lock (4) No
    (1) See Figure for terminal identification.
  2. Disconnect power window switch harness connectors. Check continuity between specified terminals. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH CONTINUITY CHECK  table. If continuity is as specified, switch is okay. Inspect ground circuit and circuits between switch and SECU for open or short. Repair as needed. If continuity is not as specified, replace power window switch.

    5 & 6 Lock Yes
    5 & 19 Unlock Yes
    Passenger's Power Window Switch
    7 & 8 Lock Yes
    7 & 18 Unlock Yes
