With CONSULT-II Scan Tool
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Connect CONSULT-II to data link connector. See Fig 1
.
- Start engine.
- Drive vehicle over 20 MPH (30 km/h) for at least one minute.
- Stop vehicle with engine running and touch START on CONSULT-II screen.
- Touch ABS.
- Touch SELF-DIAG RESULTS . The screen shows the detected malfunction and how many times the ignition switch has been turned since the malfunction.
- Make the necessary repairs following the diagnostic procedures.
