DTC Confirmation Procedure

NOTE: If DTC confirmation procedure has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.

Using CONSULT-II Or GST

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
  2. Select DATA MONITOR mode.
  3. Wait at least 10 seconds.
  4. Press and hold ON/OFF switch for at least 10 seconds, then release and wait at least 10 seconds.
  5. Press and hold ACCEL/RES switch for at least 10 seconds, then release and wait at least 10 seconds.
  6. Press and hold COAST/SET switch for at least 10 seconds, then release and wait at least 10 seconds.
  7. Press and hold CANCEL switch for at least 10 seconds, then release and wait at least 10 seconds.
  8. If DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
