DTC Confirmation Procedure
NOTE:
If DTC confirmation procedure has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.
NOTE:
Before proceeding with the following procedure, confirm battery voltage is more than 10 volts at idle.
Using CONSULT-II Or GST
- Turn ignition switch to ON position.
- Select DATA MONITOR mode.
- Start engine and let it idle for one second.
- If DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
