Fuel Pump Relay (Q45)

NOTE: Fuel pump testing information for models except Q45 is not available from the manufacturer. For further information on other models, see ENGINE PERFORMANCE in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article in ELECTRICAL.

For relay location, see Figure. Remove appropriate relay. Using jumper wires, apply battery voltage between terminals No. 1 and 2. See Fig 1.
Continuity should exist between terminals No. 3 and 5. Remove jumper wires. Continuity should not exist. Replace relay if continuity is not as specified.
