Possible Causes

Malfunction is detected when incorrect voltage is sent to ECM compared with signals from TP sensor 1 and 2. Possible causes are:

• TP sensor 1 and 2 circuit is open or shorted.
• Faulty electric throttle control actuator for TP sensor 1 and 2.
