Intake Manifold: Inspection

Using straightedge and feeler gauge, inspect surface distortion of intake manifold lower and intake manifold upper. Surface distortion should not exceed 0.004 in. (0.1 mm). See Figure.

Using straightedge and feeler gauge, inspect the surface distortion of each surface on intake manifold. If it exceeds 0.04 in. (0.1 mm), replace the intake manifold. See Figure.
