SERVICE INFORMATION
CONSULT-II Electronic Control Unit (ECU) Reprogramming Software Update:
- You will use the February 1, 2005 or later release of ASIST and the 8MB orange color ECU Reprogramming Software Card (P/N J-44200-ECMR). Do NOT use the 16MB Campaign Card.
- This latest Software Update is version AER05A.
- All the instructions you need to perform this latest ECU Reprogramming Software Card Update are in ASIST.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
- From the toolbar at the bottom of ASIST's Main Menu screen. Click on the CONSULT Utilities button. That will take you to the CONSULT-II window.
- From the CONSULT-II
window:
- If you have done ECU Reprogramming Software Card Updating before, and do not need further instruction, click on the Software Update button and follow the on-screen procedure.
- If you would like instructions on this procedure, click on the CONSULT-II Info. button. That will take you to the Download Procedure window. Then go to step 3 below.
- From the Download Procedure window, click on the Infiniti button. That takes you to the Service Procedures window.
- From the Service Procedures window, click on the CONSULT-II Software Card Update Procedure button.
- Print and follow the procedure to complete the update.
