TCS Off Switch Is Inoperative

  1. Inspection Start 

    Inspect TCS OFF switch.

    Go to next step.

  2. Check TCS Off Switch 
    1. Remove TCS OFF switch and disconnect TCS OFF switch connector M45.
    2. Check continuity between terminal 2 (SB) and 3 (B) for TCS OFF switch connector M45.

    OK: Go to next step.

    NG: Replace TCS OFF switch.

  3. Check TCS Off Switch Power Supply Circuit 
    • Disconnect connector from ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) connector E162.
    • Check continuity between ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) harness connector E162 terminal 31 (SB) and TCS OFF switch connector M45 terminal 2 (SB).

      1. Does continuity exist  ?

    Yes: Go to next step.

    No: Check the following  :

    • Harness connectors E162, M45
    • Harness for open or short between TCS OFF switch terminal (body side) and ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit)

      If NG, repair harness or connectors.

  4. Check TCS Off Switch Power Supply 

    Check continuity between TCS OFF switch connector M45 terminal 2 (SB) and ground.

    1. Does continuity exist  ?

    Yes: Repair harness and connectors.

    No: Go to next step.

  5. Check TCS Off Switch Ground Circuit 

    Check continuity between TCS OFF switch connector M45 terminal 3 (B) and ground.

    1. Does continuity exist  ?

    Yes: Connect TCS OFF switch connector M45 and check switch operation.

    No: Repair harness and connectors.
