Trunk Open Signal Check

  1. CHECK ELECTRONIC KEY TRUNK OPENING SIGNAL 

    Check voltage between auto trunk control unit connector B110 terminal 5 and ground.

    OK or NG 

    • OK : Trunk open signal is OK.
    • NG : GO TO 2.
  2. CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect BCM and auto trunk control unit connector.
    3. Check continuity between BCM connector M4 terminal 1 and auto trunk control unit connector B110 terminal 5.

      1 (G/Y) - 5 (G/Y) : Continuity should exist. 

    4. Check continuity between BCM connector M4 terminal 1 and ground.

      1 (G/Y) - Ground : Continuity should not exist. 

    OK or NG 

    • OK : GO TO 3.
    • NG : Repair or replace harness.

  3. CHECK AUTO TRUNK CONTROL UNIT OUTPUT SIGNAL 
    1. Connect auto trunk control unit connector.
    2. Check voltage between auto trunk control unit connector B110 terminal 5 and ground.

      5 (G/Y) - Ground : Approx. 5V 

    OK or NG 

    • OK : Check the condition of the harness and the connector.
    • NG : Replace auto trunk control unit.
