Inspection Procedure

NOTE:
When replacing the VSC actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration (See CALIBRATION
).
- INSPECT CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Check if a CAN communication system DTC is output (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE TABLE
).

A: Go To Next Step
- Check if a CAN communication system DTC is output (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE TABLE
).
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (ABS WARNING LIGHT)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Select the Active Test mode and operate the ABS warning light using the Techstream.

DIAGNOSTIC NOTE TABLETester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note ABS Warning Light ABS warning light ON/OFF Observe combination meter - Check that the ABS warning light turns on and off in the combination meter when using the Techstream.
OK: The ABS warning light turns on and off in accordance with the Techstream operation.
NG: GO TO METER/GAUGE SYSTEM (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )
OK: REPLACE VSC ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
