Front Axle Hub: Disassembly

NOTE:
Do not allow foreign matter, etc. to contact the ABS rotor bearing.
- REMOVE FRONT WHEEL ADJUSTING NUT (for 2WD)
- Using SST and a hammer, release the staked part of the adjusting nut.
SST 09930-00010
- Install a nut to the front axle hub, and fix it in a vise.
- Using SST and the L-type handle, remove the front wheel adjusting nut.
SST: 09602-60010
- Using SST and a hammer, release the staked part of the adjusting nut.
- REMOVE FRONT AXLE WITH ABS ROTOR BEARING ASSEMBLY
- Gently fix the front axle hub in a vise.NOTE: Do not damage the threads of the hub bolts.
- Using SST, remove the bearing.

- If part of the bearing remains in the front axle hub, use SST to remove it.

- Gently fix the front axle hub in a vise.
- REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB OIL SEAL
- Using a screwdriver, pry the oil seal.
