How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:
- The wireless door lock control system troubleshooting procedures are based on the premise that the power door lock system is operating normally. Check the power door lock system first before troubleshooting the wireless door lock control system (see SYSTEM DESCRIPTION ).
- Use these procedures to troubleshoot the wireless door lock control system.

- VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP
- INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Standard voltage:
11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.
- CHECK FOR DTC*
- Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
- Clear the DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
- Recheck for DTCs. Based on the DTCs output above, try to force output of the same CAN communication system DTC or wireless door lock control system DTC by simulating the symptoms indicated by the DTC.
