DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

DTC No. Trouble diagnosis name DTC detecting condition Possible cause
U0164 Lost communication with A/C auto amp. When ECM is not transmitting or receiving CAN communication signal of OBD (emission related diagnosis) with A/C auto amp. for 2 seconds or more.
  • CAN communication line between A/C auto amp. and ECM (CAN communication line is open or shorted)
