(1) A/C auto amp. ECM transmits/receives signals with A/C auto amp. via CAN communication line to control as follows.
  • Air conditioning cut control
  • Cooling fan control

Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION " for installation.
(2) IPDM E/R IPDM E/R control the internal relays and the actuators.
When CAN communication with ECM is impossible, IPDM E/R performs fail-safe control.

(3) ECM "ECM "
ECM is located under the air cleaner cover (bank 1) and air cleaner body (bank 1).
(4) Refrigerant pressure sensor "REFRIGERANT PRESSURE SENSOR "
Refer to "REFRIGERANT PRESSURE SENSOR: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION " for installation.
(5) Combination meter ECM transmits/receives signals with combination meter via CAN communication line to control as follows.
  • Multiport fuel injection system
  • Electric ignition system
  • Cooling fan control
  • Evaporative emission system
  • Fuel filler cap warning system

Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION " for installation.
(6) HPCM ECM transmits/receives signals with HPCM via CAN communication line to control as follows.
  • Electric ignition system
  • Cooling fan control
  • Evaporative emission system
  • Fuel filler cap warning system

When CAN communication with ECM is impossible, HPCM performs fail-safe control.

(7) Cooling fan control module "COOLING FAN "
