Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW SWITCH OUTPUT SIGNAL

    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Check signal between rear power window switch RH harness connector and ground.
    (+) (-) Signal
    (Reference value)
    Rear power window switch RH
    Connector Terminal
    D77 16 Ground

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Replace rear power window switch RH.

    NO 

    GO TO STEP 2  .

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW SERIAL LINK CIRCUIT

    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect power window main switch connector and rear power window switch RH connector.
    3. Check continuity between power window main switch harness connector and rear power window switch RH harness connector.
      Power window main switch Rear power window switch RH Continuity
      Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
      D8 14 D77 16 Existed
    4. Check continuity between power window main switch harness connector and ground.
      Power window main switch Ground Continuity
      Connector Terminal
      D8 14 Not existed

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Replace power window main switch.

    NO 

    Repair or replace harness.
