Component Function Check

CHECK FUNCTION

Turn ignition switch ON.
Select "RECLN SW-FR", "RECLN SW-RR" in the "Data monitor" mode using CONSULT.
Check reclining switch signal under the following conditions.

Monitor item	Condition		Status
RECLINE SW-FR	Reclining switch (forward)	Operate	ON
RECLINE SW-FR	Reclining switch (forward)	Release	OFF
RECLINE SW-RR	Reclining switch (backward)	Operate	ON
RECLINE SW-RR	Reclining switch (backward)	Release	OFF

Is the indication normal?

YES

Reclining switch function is OK.

NO

Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .
