Transaxle Fluid Level
- Remove air duct (dust side). Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Connect CONSULT. Refer to Description .
- Apply the parking brake and start the engine.
- Select "TRANSMISSION", "Work Support", "Oil level check" in this order.
- Proceed to "Oil level check", according to instructions shown on the CONSULT screen.
- Remove locking pin
and remove cap
from transaxle fluid charging pipe.
CAUTION: Never reuse locking pin.NOTE: Locking pin can be removable by pressing lock plateof cap in the direction shown by arrow.
- Insert dipstick [SST: KV315H0340 (TechMate No. -) (DAIMLER tool No. 168 589 012 100)] into hole
of transaxle fluid charging pipe.
NOTE: Inset dipstick all the way to the base. - Measure transaxle fluid level three times with a dipstick.

NOTE:- Wipe out transaxle fluid contacts dipstick each time by using a lint-free waste.
- How to read scales.
- Adjust transaxle fluid level, if necessary. Refer to Adjustment .
- Complete "Oil level check", according to instructions shown on the CONSULT screen.
- Stop the engine.
