Disassembly and Assembly: Assembly

  1. Using drift [SST: KV325H0780 (TechMate No. -) (DAIMLER tool No. 711 589 19 15 00)] install the differential side oil seal to clutch housing.
    CAUTION: Never reuse differential side oil seal.
  2. Install ball bearing to clutch housing.
  3. Perform inspection and adjustment of lock ring. Refer to Inspection and Adjustment .
  4. Install lock ring to clutch housing.
  5. Install hollow shaft.
  6. Install snap ring to hollow shaft.
    CAUTION: Never reuse snap ring.
  7. Install bearings.
    CAUTION: Never reuse bearings.
