DTC Diagnosis Procedure

1. Disconnect turbocharger boost sensor harness connector.
2. Turn ignition switch ON.
3. Check the voltage between turbocharger boost sensor harness connector and ground.

   +		-	Voltage (Approx.)
   Turbocharger boost sensor
   Connector	Terminal
   F91	2	Ground	5 V

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

NO

GO TO 2.

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect ECM harness connector.
3. Check the continuity between turbocharger boost sensor harness connector and ECM harness connector.

   Turbocharger boost sensor		ECM		Continuity
   Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
   F91	2	F142	136	Existed

4. Also check harness for short to power and short to ground.

Is inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

NO

Repair or replace error-detected parts.

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

Is inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

NO

Repair or replace error-detected parts.

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect ECM harness connector.
3. Check the continuity between turbocharger boost sensor harness connector and ECM harness connector.

   Turbocharger boost sensor		ECM		Continuity
   Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
   F91	4	F142	125	Existed

4. Also check harness for short to power.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 5.

NO

Repair or replace error-detected parts.

1. Check the continuity between turbocharger boost sensor harness connector and ECM harness connector.

   Turbocharger boost sensor		ECM		Continuity
   Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
   F91	1	F142	119	Existed

2. Also check harness for short to power and short to ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 6.

NO

Repair or replace error-detected parts.

Check the turbocharger boost sensor. Refer to Component Inspection .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

INSPECTION END

NO

Replace malfunctioning turbocharger boost sensor. Refer to CHARGE AIR COOLER : Exploded View .
