Diagnosis Procedure

ARMED phase is not activated when door is locked using Intelligent Key.

  1. CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY SYSTEM (REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY FUNCTION) 

    Press the LOCK button of Intelligent Key.

    Are all doors LOCKED?

    YES>>

    GO TO 2.

    NO>>

    Check Intelligent Key system (remote keyless entry function). Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

  2. CHECK HOOD SWITCH 

    Check hood switch.

    Refer to Component Function Check . Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    GO TO 3.

    NO>>

    Repair or replace malfunctioning parts. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

  3. CHECK TRUNK ROOM LAMP SWITCH 

    Check trunk room lamp switch.

    Refer to Component Function Check . Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    GO TO 4.

    NO>>

    Repair or replace malfunctioning parts. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

  4. REPLACE BCM 

    Replace BCM. Refer to BCM : Removal and Installation . Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    INSPECTION END

    NO>>

    Check intermittent incident. Refer to Inspection .
