Clutch assembly is a single plate, dry disc type, using a diaphragm spring to engage pressure plate with a prelubricated release bearing. Clutch has a mechanical release system consisting of clutch pedal, cable, yoke and release bearing.

On P'UP models, the clutch components are riveted together to prevent disassembly. The entire clutch assembly must be replaced if pressure plate or disc is worn beyond limits.
