Injector Nozzles: Cleaning
- Remove carbon from outside nozzle body with a brush. Ensure area around injection hole is clean. Clean all but lapped surface.
- Clean interior cavity of nozzle body with Brass Bar (J-28826-2). Clean nozzle seat portion of nozzle body with a Cleaning Nozzle (J-28826-3).
- To clean injection hole of nozzle body and needle sliding portion, couple a Brass Bar (J-28826-4) with another Brass Bar (J-28826-5). Use a Cleaning Bar (J-28826-6) made of beech wood to remove carbon from end of needle.
