Description & Operation

All models are equipped with Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system. Steering columns use an energy absorbing/collapsible design for safety. Components include air bag module, upper and lower column sections, steering shaft, intermediate shaft, and universal joint/couplers which connect column to steering gear.
