Altitude Sensing Switch

Altitude sensing switch is located within Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Vacuum Switching Valve (VSV). Switch is a bellows and microswitch combination-type switch, which responds to atmospheric pressure changes. When atmospheric pressure is lower than factory preset value, bellows expand to turn on microswitch, supplying signal to ECM to change MAP barometric base pressure parameter.
