Cruise Control Systems: Description: Notes

Cruise control system consists of an actuator, brake switch, inhibitor switch (A/T), clutch switch (M/T), neutral switch (M/T), cruise control switch, engage switch, and cruise control module.

Actuator is located in engine compartment and is connected to throttle by a cable. Cruise control switch, mounted on cruise lever, activates cruise control system and supplies power to cruise control module. SET button sets desired speed. Cruise control module is located behind right kick panel.

The speed (cruise) control system is designed to maintain constant speeds greater than 25 MPH. System will disengage when OFF button, clutch pedal or brake pedal is depressed. The instrument cluster AUTO CRUISE indicator light will remain on while the cruise control system is in use.
