Folding & Defogger Switch Circuit

1. Disconnect switch connector. Using a DVOM, check voltage between ground and switch connector (harness side) terminal No. 1, with light switch in ON position. SeeFig 1 . Battery voltage should be present.
2. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between connector terminals No. 2 and 6 (folding), terminal No. 3 and ground, and terminal No. 4 and ground. Continuity should exist at all terminals. Using a DVOM, check voltage between ground and connector terminal No. 5 with ignition switch in ON position. Battery voltage should be present.
3. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between connector terminals No. 6 and 2 (returning). Continuity should exist. If switch wiring circuit does not test as previously described, repair appropriate wiring circuit as necessary.
