Control Switch
To set speed greater than 25 MPH, press SET/COAST button and release. SeeFig 1. Vehicle should maintain chosen speed. To reduce speed, press and hold SET/COAST button until desired speed is reached, and release button. To increase speed, rotate cruise control switch to RESUME/ACCEL position and hold until higher speed is reached, and release switch.
Speed control can be canceled by stepping on brake or clutch pedals. To resume speed after braking or shifting, rotate cruise control switch to RESUME/ACCEL position for about one second. Speed control system can be turned off by turning main control switch to OFF position. If speed control was turned off, accelerate to desired speed, press SET button and release.
To increase or decrease speed in one MPH increments, tap-up or tap-down functions can be used. Use tap-up function to increase speed one MPH by twisting cruise control switch to RESUME/ACCEL momentarily. Use tap-down function to decrease speed one MPH by tapping SET button momentarily.
