BRAKELIGHT Switch
- Disconnect brakelight switch connector. With brake pedal depressed, continuity should exist between switch terminals No. 1 and 4. See Fig 1 . Continuity should not exist between terminals No. 2 and 3. Replace switch if continuity is not as specified.
- With brake pedal released, continuity should exist between switch terminals No. 2 and 3. Continuity should not exists between terminals No. 1 and 4. Replace brakelight switch if it does not test as specified.
