BCM Programming/RPO Configuration
NOTE:
Use of Tech 2 scan tool is necessary for programming BCM. A generic scan tool may not be capable of performing programming functions. Refer to scan tool manufacturer's instructions.
- Ensure battery is fully charged. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Verify battery and cigarette lighter connections are secure. Program BCM using scan tool. Refer to equipment user's instructions.
- If BCM fails to program, check all connections. Ensure latest software version for scan tool is used. Retry programming BCM. If programming fails again, replace BCM. See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
