Gear Position Switch Test
- Remove A/T gear position switch from connector bracket, located under hood, above transmission. Disconnect gear position switch 10-pin connector, located above transaxle. See Fig 1 .
- Using a DVOM, check for continuity between specified terminals of gear position switch terminals, with gear selector in appropriate position. See GEAR POSITION SWITCH CONTINUITY table. Replace gear position switch if continuity is not as specified.
