Switch Testing

Remove switch to be tested. Suspend switch in and thermometer in a container of water. DO NOT allow switch or thermometer to touch bottom of container. Check continuity between switch terminals while heating water. Ensure continuity only exist when temperature reaches specified temperature. See SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST  table. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch. If continuity is as specified, let switch cool. Continuity should continue to exist until temperature drops approximately 15°F.
