Scan Tool Diagnostics

Scan Tool (Tech 2) can be used to read current and history codes and to clear all history codes after a repair is complete. Scan tool must be updated to communicate with SRS through a replaceable cartridge or manufacturers update. Scan tool reads serial data from SDM serial data output terminal No. 24 (Orange wire) to Data Link Connector (DLC) terminal No. 9 (Orange wire). Connect scan tool to DLC and turn ignition switch ON. Follow instructions from manufacturer for communication with SRS.
