Description & Operation

Mirror positions can be adjusted with ignition switch in ON or ACC position. Using mirror control switch, driver-side mirror or passenger-side mirror can be adjusted. Each mirror assembly contains 2 motors to allow horizontal and vertical adjustment of mirror angles. Passport, Rodeo, Trooper and VehiCROSS are equipped with an electrically-heated mirror defogger, which will only operate with ignition in ON position.

On Trooper, mirrors have a power folding feature. When activated, this folding feature rotates mirror assemblies inward, to prevent mirror damage when additional vehicle side clearance is required.
