Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers in the diagnostic procedures.

1. 3
   
   This step determines if PCM is able to control EVAP purge solenoid valve.
2. 4
   
   This step determines if DTC will set under conditions present when DTC was originally stored. If DTC does not set, problem is intermittent.
3. 5
   
   This step checks for a grounded EVAP purge solenoid driver circuit, a faulty EVAP vacuum switch or a leaking EVAP purge solenoid valve.
