Disassembled View: Removal

- Disconnect the battery ground cable.
- Drain engine coolant.
- Discharge and recover refrigerant (with air conditioning)
- Refer to REFRIGERANT RECOVERY .
- Remove heater unit.
- Refer to HEATER UNIT .
- Remove mode actuator.
- Remove the case (mode control) from heater unit.
- Remove washer and the mode main lever.
- Remove rod.
- Press the tab of the sub-lever inward, and take out the sub-lever.
- Pull out the door lever while raising up the catch of the door lever.
- Remove clip.
