Wheel Alignment Specifications & Procedures: Adjustment: Caster
- Adjust by moving shims on front and rear upper control arm ball joint until caster is within specifications.
- To increase caster, loosen bolts securing upper ball joint and move shims from rear of ball joint to front of ball joint. To decrease caster, reverse procedure. Transposing one shim 1/16" 1.6 mm) thick will alter the caster angle approximately 1/4°. Tighten ball joint attaching bolts and recheck caster angle.
