Wiper Motor

  1. Check fuse No. 9 (XJS) and 6 (XJ6). Turn ignition on and wiper switch to low speed position. Check for battery voltage at wiper motor (Orange/Lt. Green wire).
  2. If battery voltage is available at motor and ground connection is okay, motor or park switch may be defective. If voltage is not available at motor, check relay.
  3. If battery voltage is available at relay (Blue/Lt. Green), relay may be defective. If battery voltage is not available at relay, wiper switch may be defective. See WIRING DIAGRAM section for circuit design.
