Neutral Safety Switch
- Remove selector indicator and position electric window switch panel away from console. Move control panel to gain access to cigar lighter wiring and door lock switch wiring. Note position of wires and disconnect.
- Remove control panel. Disconnect feed wire to switch and connect self-powered test light to terminal. Place selector lever in "N" position and loosen lock nuts which secure the switch. Adjust switch until test light glows. See Fig 1

- Tighten switch lock nuts and check that light remains on with lever in "P", and goes off with lever in any driving position. Remove test light, reconnect feed wire, and install all removed parts.
