NOTE: Overhaul procedures for conventional and limited slip differentials are not available from manufacturer.

To overcome noise when cornering in a vehicle equipped with a limited slip differential, a revised limited slip clutch pack has been introduced. Differential units incorporating revised clutch packs are identified by a differential unit serial number after 88H 75025. If a limited slip differential is experiencing noise and has a serial number prior to 88H 75025, acquire Clutch Pack Kit (JLM 1715 ) and use the following procedure.
