Description & Operation
XJ6 steering column is adjustable for reach and is retained by a quick-release clamp. No air bag restraint is fitted on XJ6.
WARNING:
Some models are equipped with air bag restraint system. Before performing any repairs on steering column, disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM
