Throttle Plate: 6.0L
- Remove both air cleaners. Disconnect both throttle linkage rods from bellcranks. Ensure throttle plates and housings are clean. Loosen lock nut on throttle plate stop screw. Turn stop screw in 2 full turns.
- Insert a .002" (.05 mm) feeler gauge between top of throttle plate and housing. See Fig 1
. Adjust stop screw until screw touches throttle stop arm. Tighten stop screw lock nut.
- Remove feeler gauge. Seal threads of stop screw and lock nut with drop of paint or RTV sealant. Install air cleaners.
