Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor

CKP sensor is located at the front of engine. The CKP provides ECM with information on engine speed and crankshaft position. ECM uses this information to control fuel injection pulse rate and ignition timing. CKP sensor is also used for sensing cranking speed.
