DTC P1367: Ignition System Failure Group 1

  1. Disconnect ignition module No. 1 harness connector. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ignition module No. 1 harness connector terminals No. 9 (Black wire) and 10 (Purple/White wire). See Figure. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, perform steps  3- 7 in DTC P0351-P0358: IGNITION COIL CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION .
  2. Turn ignition off. Check continuity of Black wire between ignition module No. 1 harness connector terminal No. 9 and ground point G100 (on XJ Series), or G104 (on XK8). See WIRING DIAGRAMS article. If continuity exists, replace amplifier module and retest system. If continuity does not exist, perform step  10 under DTC P0351-P0358: IGNITION COIL CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION .
