Engine and transmission at normal operating temperature. Intake air temperature is more than 18°F (-8°C).
Gear selector in "N" position. Engine idling for more than 30 seconds with no electrical load, A/C compressor, radiator fans or brake pedal applied.
Elevation less than 8000 feet.
