The Repair Procedure outlined in this Technical Bulletin does remain valid for the repair of a vehicle exhibiting the concern as outlined.

CONDITION SUMMARY
INCORRECT SOFTWARE MAY RESULT IN MIL ILLUMINATION
Situation: The Engine Control Module (ECM) calibration for the HO2 sensor slow diagnostic on some 2007 model year XK vehicles has been set to an incorrect value. Jaguar is conducting a customer satisfaction program on these 2007 model year 4.2L Naturally Aspirated vehicles to update the ECM calibration files. Owners could experience illumination of the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminating with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0133 and P0153 stored. No other symptom or effect on drivability will be experienced.
Action: Affected vehicles should have the ECM re-configured with current 2007MY EMS calibration. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin.
- Unsold vehicles must be repaired prior to retail sale delivery.
- Vehicles in the hands of customers should be repaired at the first available opportunity.

WARRANTY
- DDW will be updated to reflect only those vehicles affected.
- Some vehicles have been reworked at the factory and at Ports of Entry. These vehicles are no longer affected by this Service Action and have been removed from DDW.
Warranty claims should be submitted quoting program code K006 , together with the relevant Option Code from the table; his will result in payment of the stated time. As Option Codes are used, there is no requirement for you to enter parts or labor. These are provided for information only.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
UPDATE ECM SOFTWARE
- Connect the Midtronics power supply to the vehicle battery.
- Connect IDS to the vehicle and begin a new diagnostic session by entering the correct VIN for the current vehicle.
- Follow the IDS prompts to read the vehicle configuration.
- When prompted 'Do you wish to read diagnostic trouble codes?' select 'NO' and then press 'tick' to continue.
- When the 'Content Model' is displayed, select 'Vehicle Configuration' tab.
- Select from the menu 'Module Programming'.
- Select 'Configure Existing Modules' from the drop down menu.
- Select 'Engine Control Module' from the menu and then press 'tick' to continue.
- Follow all on-screen instructions to complete this task.
- When the task is completed, exit the current session.
- Disconnect IDS and the battery power supply. CLOSED
